Dr Ekta Sharma
Dr Sharma is a general adult consultant psychiatrist, who believes in patient centred care. She is passionate about taking a holistic approach in managing patients with mental health disorders.
Dr Sharma has been a consultant since 2015 and has expertise in assessing and managing a variety of mental health disorders. She has worked in the NHS since 2004 and is currently employed as a consultant psychiatrist in one of the NHS Trusts.
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
Adult ADHD and Autism:
Attended the UKAAN/ Mind Matters courses that have enabled Dr. Sharma to skilfully assess and manage patients with adult ADHD.
Menopause and mental health: Attended a number of training programmes to develop her skills in the management of women’s mental health.
British Association of psychopharmacology Masterclasses: Treatment of Anxiety, depression, bipolar, OCD, PTSD, Schizophrenia, addictions, sleep disorders, Insomnia, ADHD .
